Cascais, known as one of the most sustainable and "smart" cities in the world, will be the stage for the 3rd edition of the Digital with Purpose Global Summit 2024. Organized by the Global Enabling Sustainability Initiative (GeSi), the event will bring together 300 world leaders from July 9th to 11th at the Estoril Congress Center.

This year, the summit brings a new theme into focus: Sustainable Finance, joining the agenda of Biodiversity, Smart and Sustainable Cities, and Education.

The summit's objective is to accelerate the use and adoption of digital innovations that benefit society and achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals by 2030. With roundtable discussions, workshops, and two "Night Summit Dialogues" sessions open to the public, the event aims to promote debate and the exchange of knowledge on pressing issues for the future of humanity.



Luís Neves, CEO of GeSi, highlights the importance of digital as a key to addressing sustainability challenges and empowering world leaders in building a more sustainable future. During the summit, topics such as the role of digital in Water management, ethics and human centrality in Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI), and the potential of Gaming for learning will be discussed.
